Topgolf, the high-tech driving range, bar, and restaurant chain, opened its newest location at National Harbor in Oxon Mill, MD in June of 2019. The new venue is three levels and 65,000 square feet and represents the 55th location of Topgolf worldwide and the 3rd location in the Washington, DC area. Topgolf adds to a growing list of amenities for the National Harbor development which already included the Gaylord National Resort, the MGM National Harbor casino, Tanger Outlets, and the Waterfront District filled with shops, restaurants, and a public plaza that includes big screen entertainment and a Ferris wheel. Hopke worked with Pleasants Construction and ARCO/Murray to perform all of the wet utility infrastructure on the new Topgolf facility. Hopke’s scope included 4200+ LF and 60+ structures of storm sewer, 600+ LF of new water and fire line, and 300+ LF of sanitary main to the new Topgolf facility.
