In November 2024, W.B. Hopke was awarded the wet utilities project for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency Headquarters (CISA), a 630,000 square foot building located at St. Elizabeths West Campus and Martin Luther King Jr Avenue in Southeast DC. The project will consolidate the CISA workforce with the Department of Homeland Security workforce at one location.

W.B. Hopke Awarded New Wet Utilities Project at Sidwell Friends Upper School in Washington DC

In 2016, Washington Home & Community Hospices phased out its nursing home and rehabilitation programs and transferred their hospices services to Capital Caring Health in NW DC. This opened the door to renovation, construction and expansion of the property to become Sidwell Friends Upper School, home to children from grades 9-12.

W.B. Hopke Awarded New Sanitary and Storm Project at the Crystal House in Crystal City, VA

The Crystal House project is largely financed by Amazon who contributed $381.9 million to the Washington Housing Conservancy, a DC area non-profit and financing partner for the purchase of the 16-acre site in 2020. The effort will help stabilize rising rents at the luxury apartment building, a move that will create and preserve 1,300 affordable housing units at Crystal House.

Modera H Street is the new site for a luxury apartment community located at 801 17th Street Northeast, Washington, DC. Featuring 325 contemporary apartment homes, Modera H Street is within convenient walking distance to several shopping centers, close to dining and nightlife and is situated within an arts-infused neighborhood. W.B. Hopke Awarded Wet Utilities Work at the New Affordable Housing Development Project in Arlandria

Housing Alexandria, a non-profit group, is breaking ground on a new affordable housing development project in Arlandria, located at the intersection of Mount Vernon Avenue and Glebe Road. The project consists of two high-rise buildings to be named Sansé and Naja, and includes 474 new affordable units, 36,000 square feet of commercial space and a two-level underground parking garage to accommodate 379 cars.

New Four Seasons Private Residences Project Awarded to W.B. Hopke in Georgetown

What used to be the former federal utility site known as the Georgetown West Heating Plant, a building that has sat stagnant for years, in its hay day generated steam for neighborhood federal buildings. It was decommissioned and sold at auction in 2014. The building is now being transformed into a 300-million-dollar project called the Four Seasons Private Residences.
